This is a great market to trade, if you enjoy that. You have to be very careful, as guessing the moves is very difficult.

If you are more of a long term investor type that should not care about daily fluctuations, forget about looking at the daily moves as it will drive you absolutely crazy. The market is readjusting itself to the post sub-prime market fallout, so I would recommend that you look at your portfolio to see if you should do any adjustments. Don’t do anything drastic.

Keeping some cash on the side might be a good idea as well, so that you can take advantage of some drops in the market.
